PT is a profession that, to me, allows for creativity and innovative thinking directed toward helping others. Becoming a PT means being able to work in a field I am passionate about, and it will enable me to assist others in their involved life journeys with a creative and impactful approach.

I learned about physical therapy as a career during a middle school project that involved learning about other professions; I interviewed my coach, who happened to be a therapist. Since that interview, I have been forever inspired by her words, genuine passion, and care for her patients. I continued my interest in college and was constantly reaffirmed by my many classes and personal experiences that this is the career I can have the same passion and care for.

I have been enjoying working and learning in the many different PT settings. In graduate school, I will take this as a huge opportunity to be inspired and learn even more specialties I have yet to see. I want to keep an open mind and take in this whole experience that I'm very grateful to have!

My future plan is to find a specialty I value and can grow in as a therapist. At the same time, I will continue to contribute positively to the field as I have already experienced with this ImPacT Fund! Overall, for my future in physical therapy, I aim to excel, learn, and continue my excitement and passion for the future!
