Access to PT

I’ve been thinking a lot about what access really means.

To me it’s about creating space— for students who never saw themselves in this field, for patients who’ve felt overlooked, for communities that deserve better.

The lack of diversity in PT isn’t just a stat to fix. It’s a real barrier to care. When patients don’t feel seen, they’re less likely to show up, and when no one looks like you in the classroom, it’s harder to picture yourself in the clinic.

That’s what the imPacT FUND is about, opening doors for students who are going to change what this profession looks like and who it reaches.
