I’m a 1st year Physical Therapy student, I chose Physical Therapy because of my passion for holistic care and patient interaction. Throughout my time at GVSU I have gained the expertise and knowledge of the amazing faculty here. My passion for the field of Physical Therapy has only grown and I hope to apply my knowledge and abilities in pro-bono clinics and community events.

I’m beyond grateful for the support and confidence that the imPacT FUND has given me throughout my time at GVSU’s DPT program. Through the mentorship provided by Dr. Carey, I have been able to grow as a student and as an individual who cares deeply about the community in Grand Rapids. Being part of this diverse group has allowed me to gain a greater perspective on the importance of higher education. As I continue my academic journey, I will continue to strive to help my community in any way possible and advocate for accessible PT care.
