Devon Reginaldo

Class of 2029

My passion for the profession is rooted in a strong calling to the health and wellbeing of others. But how do PTs accomplish that? To me, studying to become a physical therapist requires a certain drive to learn. I’d describe it as this insatiable curiosity to understand, whether it be pathologies, clinical reasoning, or every system of the human body. I believe that in this way, to be a physical therapist means being capable of helping patients gain an understanding for themselves and sharing that curiosity of human movement.

My experiences in different physical therapy settings have inspired me to reach farther in my education, all with the goal of being capable of treating the whole person. For me, leaning towards a specialization of PT after graduation will allow me to reach this goal, and I can not thank the imPacT FUND enough for supporting me in this journey! I am more than excited to pursue this career alongside strong mentors that will lead me to leave a lasting impact on not only my patients but the profession itself.
